Tiered Garden

The clients for this garden wanted to turn a sloped garden into one that was easier to access, with lots of seating areas to sit in at different times of the day to make the most of the sun. We had to dig a large part of the garden away to create the sunken seating area with retaining oak sleeper walls. The curves and circles give the garden interest and makes the area feel a lot wider. As the deck area was an unusual shape we wanted to enhance it, we did this by making the most of the angles rather than laying the deck all one way.
